Summary
Provides one record for each possible value in a specific lookup table.
Match the code in the Look Up column of any record description with the Look Up Type in this file.
Then match the value in the specific field with the Look Up item in this file.
Example: The Real Property Parcel file has a field called Water Systems.
The Look Up Type is 56.
To get a description of the Water System when the value in the Water System field is 2, select the Look Up Description from this file where the Look Up Type = 56 and the Look Up Item =2.
This join has already been established for those Geodatabase objects where the name contains the keyword 'View'.
For example COMMBLDG_REPORT_VIEW is COMMBLDG_EXTR joined with LOOKUP_EXTR.
Description
This data is a GIS Center value-added derivative of the lookup description extract table from the Assessor's Office.
The Assessor's Office does not consider this data to be authoritative, as it is a product of the GIS Center.
This dataset is updated on a weekly basis.
