Where designations overlap BOTH designations apply. All shoreline designations include "associated" wetlands and floodplains whether or not they are indicated explicitly in the water feature's description. SAO Wetlands layer and FEMA Floodplain layer were used. Boundaries between designations are perpendicular to the shoreline unless otherwise specified (as a property line). This layer shows the boundaries of various Shoreline Environments assigned to the Shorelines of the State by King County's Shoreline Management Master Program, as adopted from the Shorelines Management Act of 1971. |
