Description
2005 SWDM Water Quality Application designation. DomainBasic Water Quality Treatment - Areas where a general, cost-effective level of treatment is sufficient for most land uses. Bog Drainage Area - Areas that drain to spagnum bog wetlands larger than 0.25 acres in size. Sensitive Lake Treatment - Areas where lake watersheds have a combination of water quality characteristics and watershed development potential that makes them particularly prone to eutrophication induced by development. |

This dataset was created by rating the King County Water and Land hydrological basins by several flow related characteristics such as flooding problems and runoff/drainage issues. The basins were given an overall score and then dissolved to create larger areas with the same score/designation. The incorporated areas (as of 1/03/05) and areas overlapping the forest production districts were removed. |
