Abstract:
ArcGIS LYR File: WTRCRS_LINE represented by STR_LVL item which stores the stream level hierarchy of that stream reach. Stream levels range from fisrt-order (1) to sixth-order (6), with stream levels increasing upstream. In other words, a major river will be STR_LVL = 1 with its first tributary being STR_LVL =2, and upward with descreasing stream levels.
Supplemental_Information:
STR_LVL is part of the route identification information stored in the RTE_ID item.
