Title: Nearest Polygnon Neighbors of Incorporated Areas (cities) in Three County Area: Snohomish;Pierce;King
Feature Count: 0
Feature Type: Polygon
Abstract: The table is derived from the compilation of city jurisdictional information from three counties: King, Pierce and Snohomish. Uses the best available information from each of the 3 counties to produce the composite product. Updated whenever changes are made to any one of the source data sets. For King County this will be whenever CITY_AREA (parent is CITY_ANNEX) is updated to Spatial Data Warehouse. Pierce and Snohomish updates are shared with King County on quarterly to semi-annual basis. Updates are made so that the King County portion of this composite is synchronous with the information in the master King County jurisdiction layer.
Purpose: A nearest neighbor analysis of the Incorporated Areas (cities) in Three County Area: Snohomish;Pierce;King providing the neighboring city names for each city. Used to determing neighboring city polygons for each city in the 3 county area. The Polygons must be touching. i.e. Select src_NAME = 'Seattle" and you will get 3 neighboring cites: Shoreline, Burien, and Tukwila.
